Ocean Welfare Organization has crossed a powerful milestone in its journey from footpath to future. From a makeshift school under a flyover near Abdullah Shah Ghazi serving around 2,000 street children, we’ve grown into a network of initiatives in education, health, women’s empowerment and poverty alleviation, touching the lives of thousands of marginalized families across Karachi.
None of this would have been possible without you. Your support has helped take children off the streets and into classrooms, backed women through skills and livelihood programs, and strengthened campaigns for a cleaner, safer city. As we celebrate how far we’ve come, we also know our work is nowhere near done. There are still countless children studying on the pavement, and countless families struggling for dignity, opportunity, and basic rights. Together, let’s keep pushing forward – from Footpath School to “Footpath se Taleem Tak” and “Footpath se Ghar Tak” – so every child and every family we reach is one step closer to a life of safety, learning, and independence.
